Tools of the trade ️

These are the tools I use:

Traditional media

I've been using the same watercolor palette from Sennelier since 20 years. I only had to refill a couple colors. It outlasted all my computers and software.

As for brushes, I like flat brushes the most, especially large ones, and then thin round brushes for detailing. I rarely use the rest of the shapes.

Gouache; windsor and newton designer gouache. I use this one since it was recommended by the late Syd Mead.

Oil paints; Windsor and Newton water-soluble oils. I also did a demo with cobra water soluble, and they seem fine too. The main reason is to avoid toxic solvents when painting in my studio or in plein-air.

Software

Blender for all my 3D graphics needs. Except for sculpting, I enjoy using NomadSculpt on my iPad for that.

Krita for digital painting.

Inkscape for all svg / vector work.

Recently picked up Rebelle 5 again. I like the timelapse recording stuff.

Operating System: Pop OS A linux distribution that works for noobs like me.

Hardware

Lenovo X220t 💜💻, Ipad pro 11 inch, ConceptD 7 Ezel, Wacom Intuos
